Loss of power, engine bogging
I have a 95 Lt1 and yesterday on my way to work I was on the interstate and all of a sudden my car started bogging and had barely any power. This happend once before when my O2 sensor went bad. Anyway when I got to work I opened the hood and saw that my air filter had fell off. So I placed it back on. I thought that this was the issue, but on my way home it bogged the whole way. When I got home I Freescanned it and saw that the O2's seemed to be working fine. Last time when one went bad the number was stuck on 1080. So im not sure if this is the problem or not. Also I once had an exhaust leak that made the car bog but not as bad as it is now. Also I'm thinking the engine is getting too much fuel because when I rev it up and shift gears it backfires every time. Any suggestion guys?

UPDATE: Tested the coil by installing the stock one, problem persists. Disconnected Accel ignition system, problem persists. When my O2 sensor was to blame I could still get full power by going WOT. So I think that eliminates them. My next question is. Can I test the opti somehow while its still on the car? If so how? Is there anything I can look for in a datamaster log that might pinpoint a bad opti? I need help asap so that if need be I can buy a new one before this weekend. Thanks again everyone.

I checked the intake, nothing there, who knows if something went in though..how would I check that? A flashlight? As for the wires they are 4 month old, magnecores covered with heat shield boots. I also checked them tonight and didnt see any arching. I'm still lost and I would hate to buy a new opti, spend all day installing it, just to find it was a waste of money.
Well I took my car in today to have it diagnosed and the best the shop could tell me was "Oh, well since you have a hypertech programmer you need to bring it somewhere that they can check the computer or put it on a dyno". So needless to say that was a waste of time. I also want to add that in the morning my car runs fine for about a minute. It pulls hard in all gears, but after that I hit the gas it barely wants to go anywhere. If I got WOT it doesnt help, so does that rule out the MAF, since the car should run off preset tables then? Oh and when I scanned the computer with freescan I got MAP sensor low. Could that cause my problems? After work today I'm going to check fuel pressure and spark.
