loose rocker cause power loss?

just got done re lashing my rockers last night (1.5 ratio on duel springs) took it to work today to show the guys at work what modern muscle is all about (plus my F1 sounds freakin amazing) and i started to hear a tap, got the car home and it had a loss of power. (not blowing smoke or anything just loss of power) got the valve covers off and one of my rockers was very loose. before i even turn the key again id like to know if this would cause a huge power loss... before this i had #1cyl exhaust valve spring lock fail. we ordered 2 new rockers and 1 pushrod, took the car out and it felt faster than ever. like to the point it scared the crap out of me im just praying this was the problem... can anyone confirm this? thanks! also we lashed them to 1/2 turn not 3/4 on my Z28 we had excelent luck at 1/2 turn.

most definitely causes loss of power...also has a tendency to bend pushrods and kill lifters.....hopefully nothing else is hurt.....
