i am currently in need of some tuning for my vehicle. what tuning do you recommend for my LT1. ive heard of the LT1 edit, madwolf tuning, and a few others. which one should i go with.

 

It really comes down to the mods you are running. Also what year is your car?

 

With more info on your car and what kind of mods you have or going to have, the better the advice. If you have no experience with pcm tuning, scanning and logging, I would let someone from the this board do it for you. It is cheaper to have a professional do it than to buy the software. LT1 edit is $1500, tuner cat is $65, I believe, and than you need the cable which is around a $100.

That is if you want to tune as many pcms as you want. I think it is like $150-$200 for a locked pcm LT1 edit. Go to www.carputing.com they have a list of prices.

as of now i have most of the bolt ons. but im thinking of going with a cc305 cam or a LT4 hotcam. it is also a 94 w/ obd1 pcm.

let me know what tuning i should go with.

 

I would recommend either going with Madwolf or PCMforless.
