Am tearing down my LT1 and was thinking about using Total Seal's gapless rings. Has anyone used them, and if so, what do you think of them?

Engine:

355 LT1
LE2 heads & cam
SRP flattop forged pistons

never used in an lt1 but plenty of sbc,bbc,sbf. love them for certain apps

 

Best there is IF ya get the special hone finish on the cyl walls that is called for.
Jake leg machine shop can't do it.

 

What kind of hone? The Total Seal guy didn't mention anything about a hone in his email.
