looking for oil pan suggestions

Well seeing as how I lost my last motor possibly due to lack of oil pan baffles I am looking to correct this problem. Looking for suggestions that will work with the factory oil cooler on a 396 or 383. Havent decided which yet. I read a post that Canton makes a good one but I cant find the thread again.

Re: looking for oil pan suggestions

The one needed is the 15-242T and make sure you order it with the additional notching for the steering rack. It may hit the steering rack on some cars, and with some cars it's ok.

It works well with strokers, only needs a slight bending of the oil deflector.

I have the 15-242T on my '93. No interference with the steering shaft here.

You definately need one if you run a high volume pump.

Does anyone know the price? Do they sell a good HV pump and pickup to match?
