Looking for new wires

I'm looking for new spark plug wires when i install my new motor, and i am running long tubes soo i dont think i want stock because i believe the stock plug wires will rub on the headers and the aftermarket wires you can twist the boot out of the way. anyways i have found these

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-887825/

They look to be the same as the MSD wires which are 8. also but they are $50 cheaper.

Re: Looking for new wires

The boots aren't the same as MSD, but then again the 90* boots have raised MSD lettering on them. However the 8.5mm is the same. Give them a shot and let us know how they work. Snap some pictures so we can see how the connectors, wire, and boots look.

Re: Looking for new wires

Thunder racing sells a wire kit, which you can mount them either on top or the side. I have the top mount, and longtubes, no rubbing or melting.

Spark plug wire covers from DEI will fix any burning all together no matter what plug you use. cost 65 for the entire kit and come in 3 colors

Re: Looking for new wires

You could always get a universal set along with the opti boots and make your own.
