I'm with Ken... how about an option for those of who drive our cars in the summer too, and so want to keep PS and A/C?

Uhhhh, then leave it how it is. That bracket doesn't weight THAT much! The idea is to move the alternator down low and out of the way by having it take the place of the A/C compressor.

BTW, I mostly drive my car in the summer.....but I NEVER use the A/C. My car has T-tops for a reason.

Guys,

I've been working on a few solutions and it appears thus far I may have a working model. My largest obsticle is rerouting the power steering lines. I am trying to keep costs down on the overall unit.

I have attempted to work with the stock lines to keep it simple. It appears thus far that a new high pressure side line may be needed to bring it all together. I will analyze and evaluate the overall cost of the line and materials, in addition to the overall functionality.

I want to create a product that is inexpensive, not cost prohibitive for you folks to retain power steering.

Hopefully after Christmas I will have final answers for everyone.

I'll keep everyone informed of my progress as it develops.

Thanks for your patients,

Steve Monte
