Go with a custom cam or the cc503 if your looking for good power and a mild cam.

I have an interest in computers, I guess that's why I like Megasquirt. As for the EDIS.. I'm not a converted Ford guy.. but lots of Ford friends. Maybe I should stop listening to them lol.. In any case I'll be going Megasquirt for the added challenge.. I can make it work with the Opti, or without so I'll see how far over my head I get first lol.
I'll probably be doing my own heads.. not many shops around here that get into that sort of stuff. I wouldn't trust an everyday garage.. I will be having the shortblock checked out though by the pros.
Tried looking for youtube vids of the CC503 cam in an LT1 but not coming up with good ones.. I'll touch base with Lloyds people and see what they recommend. I think I just want it all.. the smooth idle and HP... I'll find something in between I'm sure.

 

The 503 is a great cam for stock heads. I wouldn't run it with 21 degree TFS heads. Those heads deserve more cam than that.
