I have a 95 z28 convertable I just purchased, Lt1 - 6 speed & plan on doing some minor mods.
1) cold air intake
2) exhaust releif - dont want to loud since it is a daily driver summer toy
3) computer chip
4) 160f thermostat.

Just wondering what opinions there are out there as to what chip I should purchase & if the lower thermostat is actually worth while of not. Any advice would be appreciated.

160 thermo is fine; your car does not have a "chip" to buy. Must be custom tuned via a download into your PCM.

 

Your probably going to want gears as well. They really wake up a car, and with a 6 speed even with 4.11 or 4.10's the 6th gear over drive still allows you to get decent gas mileage.
