?? about AC system sensors and PCM
?? about AC system sensors and PCM
I've been reading my HELMS manual on the subject of the Air Conditioning system and it appears to me that there are 2 sensors in the AC system that tell the PCM to disengage the compressor clutch.
The Evaporator Temperature Sensor assembly (prevents evaporator freeze up)
and
The Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Assembly.
Does the Refrigerant Pressure Sensor have both a high and low threshold? If so, can anyone tell me what PSI those thresholds are at?
Other than those 2 sensors are there any other sensors that would tell the PCM to disengage the compressor clutch?
Thanks
