He's got a production number of #404
The induction modifications done to the early production units (first 497 units) included the porting of the heads, intake and exhaust manifolds were rated at a conservative 350+hp with the optional exhaust package.

Claims: 311HP/441ft-lb
Actual: 255HP/280ft-lb
So.... where's that magic 350+HP engine that he claims was installed in the first 497 units. 255rwHP/0.82 = 310flywheel.
The really funny part is the way he is taking "peak torque" off the dyno sheet. The correct figure is about 280ft-lb, but he's taking the "spike" at the start of the pull as 441ft-lb. The car is also making less than 255rwHP peak, but he's calling it 311HP, based on the "spike".
Sad.

Like 500 or so of the first SS cars built were suposed to have the Intake and exhaust manifolds Extrude honed. This would have made a few extra ponies but not what he claims. And there is no way the figures he claims are his. Dosn't even seem possible for the HP and Torque reading to be from the same engine.

His torque number is WAY off, because of the reason I (and Madwolf) posted above.... he is looking at the numbers printed on the dyno sheet for peak HP and peak torque, and the dyno chart is showing the values of the "spike" that occurs when you floor it at low RPM. This is no more than a "spike" and no one with any kinowledge would use those numbers.
