Longtubes Question

I should be doing my LT install next weekend and i was wondering if anyone on here has ever made their own o2 extensions? How hard was it?
Also what is involved in removing the AIR pump? Should i take it out completely or just find a bolt to block up the manifold fitting?

Also any good write-ups with pictures of LT installs would be great. Thanks

If you don't have to pass inspection, you can remove the air and egr and use block off plates. You will get a code unless you get them tuned out. I'm looking for write ups on an fbody headers install too.
Here's an install on a C5:

With the OBD-I 95, if you remove the AIR pump, all you have to do is make sure there is a good fuse in the AIR pump circuit, and you will not get a code.
