Long Tubes and Lowering springs, bad idea?
Long Tubes and Lowering springs, bad idea?
I'm ordering a set of pacesetter long tubes and I also came across a set of used lowering springs I'm seriously considering buying. I know there is a ground clearance issue with long tubes anyway, would it be a bad idea to add lowering springs in the mix too? I'd hate to end up denting my long tubes by bottoming out all the time. Thanks.

Oops, it's a 1.5" drop all around. I usually go over dips 1 wheel at a time anyway, and rarely run into speed bumps in my town. Hmmm...

i have jet hots and an eibach pro kit, 1.25" i believe. i don't scrape at all, and it sits real nice!. i will hit those things in gas station parking lots where they fill up the underground tanks though. but i'm fine.

ive got hotchkis 1 inch drop w hooker LT. speedbumps are a definite nono, but normal driving is fine. some driveways are slow and sideways.
looks like it depends on the individual vehicle, if they can work together. gl

you may scrape speedbumps, especialy if there are people in the car, bit that doesnt mean its going to rip your exhaust off. There are plenty of people with everyday drivers that have LTs and are lowered.
