tried installing my k800's last night, and the two different compressors ihad wouldnt work, one wouldnt grab the inner spring,and the other was too hard to pull up and there was no way i could get the back ones, so i ended up pulling the heads off

 

The first tool which grabs the spring from its bottom and has a threaded shaft will work great with single springs...The other type you fix inplace of the rocker arm and has a lever where a set of hands applay pressure and another set preferebly much smaller than the first are used to fix the locks.

 

yea i have both types, and the screw type wont grab the inner spring, and the lever type wouldnt fit under the cowl. i was just trying to see what everyone else was using (not that it matters cuz my heads are already off)
