Long tubes with Eibach Sportlines?
K guys just bought a new LT1 car and thinking about modding it a little...
My previous LS1 had a Eibach pro kit and Pacesetter LT's and really no clearance problems. My question is how much different are LT1 long tubes if any? Also I will most likely be running 2.5" True Duals with an X pipe.
Thanks in advance..

Re: Long tubes with Eibach Sportlines?
id say around 3 inchs or so give or take. i have pacesetters and hotchkis 1" drop springs and i have about 3 inchs of clearence. Normal driving is fine, just gotta watch for big bumps and divits. Speed bumps are a no no. (just remember it may look ok when your out of your car and looking at it, but once u start adding yourself and passengers or what not, its going to be lower)
Edit: re-read it and realized it was sportlines not prokit... Id say closer to 2 inchs, maybe a little more. I wouldnt do it with the sportlines.

My car is lowered almost an inch in the front and I have Hooker LTs. While I havent had a lot of trouble with clearance yet, Ill just tell you I dont have very much. Im sure a momentary brain fart one day will take them out.

I have pacesetter LT's and SS/firehawk springs (supossedly gives a .75" drop over stock) and Im ok with speed bumps.... I do have one shopping center down the road that scrapes everytime if I leave out of the wrong exit........
