I have 0 problems with mine smacking anything, I've had them for about 3k miles now.

Whoa whoa, I know people that have changed motor mounts with headers on...............................................t hat sounds like bad news for me cause I don't want to them off again.

the motor mount that is close to the header on your car and mine will not twist, as it is bolted to the block. the motor mounts twist on the bushing itself. you're fine there. i guess it's just that mine were made a little different. i hope this doesn't mean i'll have problems fitting them into the car!!!!! i got the mounts notched, so hopefully they work and never break. i'll post you up once i get them in the car

well, i notched the motor mounts. got about an 1/8 clearnace now. hope all goes well

How was the install overall? My Pacesetters went in much easier than my Mac Mids did. After I got everything off (starter, alternator,ect), it took maybe five mintues a piece, at the most to get them in and a few bolts in. I was very impressed since ive heard so many horror stories.

i didn't install them in the car. i have the motor on a stand and i thought i'd bolt the headers on for a pic....thats how the discovery was made

I would almost have to bet your motor mount is on backwards or something. No way in hell production tolerances should be that far off.
