long story, need input
I installled heads cam and exhaust last week. After the car was done, it fired right up and ran great. My fuel pressure was WAY low though(22lbs). I drove the car home, about 240 miles but i stayed at low rpm cause of the fuel. The car ran fine the whole time. I checked the plugs when I got back, and they looked perfect. I was thinking that the bigger injectors may have offset the fuel pressure.I changed the pump the next day and have had nothing but problems since. I drove the car for about 45 minutes and then I developed a misfire. I had to drive 45 minutes back home, but the problem was only at low rpm. After some looking I found 2 burnt wires. I changed wires, and the misfire was still there. Pulled the plugs and they were pretty fouled. I changed em out, still no luck. #6 would not fire. Checked to make sure everything was plugged in right, then the car wouldn't even start. Cranks and cranks, but won't start, sounds like only 1 or 2 are firing. The opti is brand new GM (put on with the heads and cam) and I put a new coil in today.
I couldn't check to see if there was spark, i'm the only one here to work on the car, hard to turn the key and look at wires. ANyone have any suggestions that I might be overlooking?

I am not an expert but it could be several things.
Its really gonna be hard to do by yourself if the car wont start, other than pulling the ignition module and have it checked.
Normally you can check coils for continuity, but I just installed a coil in my car, and I wouldn't know how to check it.
I would suggest doing your best in getting a friend to crank the car over for ya while you check for spark.

Did you check the dowel length on the new cam?If it is too long it can kill the opti. You can buy a remote starter switch or make one easily. One other thing, you need a reprogram for different injectors.
