Well then, I hope it works with Jet-Hots.
It damn well better if I paid $50 for it.

One little tip for the Lokar users...... Be careful checking your oil with the car warmed up.... that handle gets HOT !!!

I have the lokar with the AS&M's. It works just that the handle of the dipstick touches the header primary, lol. I have to check my oil wearing gloves. Good thing though is that if someone that shouldn't be touching your dipstick does they will get a surprise, .

Did anyone have to modify the part of the dipstick that goes into the oil pan?

$50? Ouch. I broke my stock dipstick last year and I went to my local GM dealer and got a replacement for like $10.

I was having problems bolting the stock tube back up to the block but I finally sat down one day and worked it out. Plus I broke the handle on the dipstick, which I replaced for about $5. By then I already ordered the Lokar one from Summit. Lokar....is NOT cheap.

I was so impressed with the Lokar engine oil dipstick, I bought a tranny oil dipstick too. Looks killers but I do burn my fingers once in a while. No modification is needed. It just slips right in.
