Question Lokar Dipstick

The one from Jegs' website says for SB Chevy's 1980 and up, will this still work for an LT1? I want to be sure before I purchase it this week.

Well, I just got mine, it looks awfully short. Hopefully it will work. Exactly how much shorter is the Lokar than the stock dipstick? I dont want to be reaching right at a primary to check my oil...

I had one and found two problems. First it is really short, that sucked. Second, it dosnet fit real well with a Canton (piece of crap) oilpan. In fact it ate the tip of it off on the crank due to the different on the pan. And no, I dont have a stroker. So it is definetly due to the pan

REAL short. I tried one, and couldn't get it to fit with my ASM headers. Had to make do with the stocker.

Mine is too short and you burn the F**k out of your hand when you check the oil.... i think they sent me the wrong one..... At least my car doesnt leak or burn oil, therefore i dont have a need to check it.....
