Exclamation Locked up engine Help? ideas?

i was driving my Z after installing a new trans
and all of the sudden it died
it turned over but struggled and wouldnt fire.
but the engine was fairly hot. about 200-210
i pushed it home and let it sit and now i hear relays clicking when i try to start it but i dont hear the starter doing anything
it had oil and water
so i dont think its actually seised up. (I REALLY hope not)
but i cant turn the crank with a wrench or anything
but i noticed after the trans swap the starter was kinda struggling to start the car.
could like the starter messed up and locked onto the fly wheel causing the car to over heat and kill it?
i dont have any idea where to start looking
so please guys give me any and all possibilities
so i know what to look for

Thanks
Justin

Manual or automatic?

If manual, is it possible the clutch is staying engaged or partially engaged?

I guess the starter could jam into the flywheel but the clutch in it shouldn't seize the engine. If you think that could be happening, pull the starter and try turning the engine with a wrench on teh damper bolt. If it doesn't turn you have a pretty bad problem. Pull the spark plugs and try turning it again....look for water at the spark plug holes....
