Location of oil pump pickup

Hey everyone, the previous owner of my car cracked something pretty good because the k-member, oil pan, and old y-pipe all are dented. The oil pan is recessed some at the end of the pan. I am curious as to where the pickup tube is located. Is it around the drain plug area in the middle of the pan. Should I have new pan installed or just see what happens?

The pickup is about dead center and 1/2" off of the floor. Pull the pan and beat it out and check for leaks.

Good, the dent is nowhere near the pickup tube then but it is still something I would like to address. Do you know of any tricks that I can do to get the pan off with a floor jack or should I rent or buy a cherry picker and pull the motor up some?

Ta can pull it by jacking the engine up.
