This has been asked a lot. You can't go wrong with either.

AI if you're looking for every last tenth and MPH.

LE if you're a bit more budget-oriented.

This is really a good subject for a "Search". Unfortunately, this topic often spins out of control and gets shut down. Hopefully, this thread will be the exception.

I would have to agree.

If you're building a semi-budget minded regularly driven street car then LE.

If you're building a monster motor and want every last bit of power that you can get out of a LTx motor then AI.

LE stuff IIRC is all hand porting work, whereas AI is all CNC.

Do you like coke or pepsi? Both will get you where you want to be. How much you wanna spend?? What are the supporting mods you plan to do? That is way to general of a question. I personally Have an AI set-up and love it. I know a couple of people with LE heads and cam, they love it as well. Think about what your goal is; 9s, 10s, 11s, 12s. will it be driven every day? After you do that, then search this sit as well as other LT1 sites for your answer. You will get people who like both.

I can pretty much echo what everyone above has already stated.

That said, I have a AI Trickflow setup and am very happy with it. Ron & Phil are also top notch when it comes to customer service as far as answering tech questions, explaining things, etc.
Ive heard the same about LE also...so ya.....either way your good
