that's the quote he gave me so that's what he would be building.....so the second quote would be a better setup and cheaper right?
but i know the eagle crank and the mahle pistons is not as strong as the dragonslayer and diamond pistons correct??? that's what i was told by the other guy that wants to build it (the first quote at the first of the message)

well i was just making sure my second quote was going to be a good strong motor and not just using per say cheap parts.....
has anyone ever had anything built by RPM one of our sponsors on here outta Nashville, b/c that's where this second quote is coming from
btw anyone have any pics or vids of their 383's i can compare to and how much it cost them and what kind of numbers you all are putting down?

Mahle pistons are great.
What compression is he going for?
What are the cam specs?
You don't need a HV oil pump, just a M55A
There is no reason why that 2nd motor will not last as long as the first....

i'm not sure what compression or cam specs yet we've just been laying some stuff out there...i will find out from him on mon. tho and write back so you guys can dig through it and tell me what you think.....b/c obovisly i think highly of all of your or most of you guys comments on here are very true and i appreciate it b/c this is a big investment as you all know that's done it
see i don't even know the diff. b/t a HV oil pump and a M55A so you'd have to explain....alot cheaper but still get the job done sort of thing?
