LINGENFELTER acceleration vid...
Well they can depending on suspension setup. The radials are heavier but they have more of an advantage then they do downfall. You will MPH better with the radials, and they are MUCH more stable on the big end of the track...However, with a manual transmission they can be less consistant as well as less forgiving when track prep isn't there. After having both I like the radials better. If you have a chance to try them out, give them a shot u may really like them. On my 17" MT DR's(for street use) i got over 6k miles out of them and some track passes for fun, on the street they hook awesome!

really i know two people that ran the m/t's on the street with no issues, one of them [me>you] on this board ran them on his GTO over 14k before he traded it in with them still having good tread.
i hear you on the forgiving part though, i am scared to break this thing too, i dint have the money for that right now.
good luck with your trans though, it dont sound good
I asked questions to infinity to those like Jason Short and Jordon, who've been at this playing field and above. I considered AI, LE and Overton's guy (Eric Bradby?). Out of the three I could only get ahold of AI in the window of time I was giving myself to make my decision. I gave them the specs and they sent me an invoice for AFR 210's at over $3000.00. I wasn't quite sure I wanted to spend that amount of money so I decided to take the gambe by using the Lingenfelter heads. Honestly I would've hated to buy the AI (any cylinder head for that matter), put them on and gain only a few hp, if any. I understand that's part of the game, but that's too much for me to gamble.
I am surprised the LPE heads have done so well on this combo, but the jury is still out as to whether or not they are being any sort of hindrance.

It's a little better than the last. It is best viewed in full screen mode.
This is approx a 13 - 110mph punch.

P.S. This is still a 3750lb car. Only things removed are the spare tire/jack.
