LINGENFELTER acceleration vid...

well.. LPE, Cam Motion, Isky, Eagle, Compstar, SLP, Spohn, NGK, Taylor, MSD (damn... feel like I'm in NASCAR), Smith Brothers, Walbro, Hooker, JE, Mezier, Cloyes, Canton and Crane...

Yeah you can't see anything. Just use your imagination. You could probably turn up the contrast full blast on your monitor and see something? It's a 10 - 115mph punch on 3.73 gears and Nittos shifting at 7100rpm. The reason why you see the shift light so much is because it has a 6200 pill:

And here's documentation on how driveable this thing is. It's unreal compared to my stock block/ LPE heads/ GM847 cam. I virtually had to eliminate ever using 6th gear (with the 3.73's at least). This vid was while in 5th:

maybe later. i got stopped about 1/2 hour before that vid was shot.
cop was the nicest one i've ever ran into. i was doing 65 in a 50 while passing a car and he let me go. even made a comment on how loud the exhaust was, but then stated, "that's just how these cars are..."
just wow...

Sick! Sounds like a really fun combo. Is that an off the shelf grind or is it custom/secret? Do you think the reason for the excellent drivabiltiy is because of the huge cubes? Brad

Badass dude, nice to see you finally got all the bugs worked out. Now enjoy it before something else breaks.

thanks. it's a combination of being solid roller and the CID. The cam is an off the shelf mild grind. Same one Jordon Musser used in his 401 LT1 solid roller.

thank you, my dear. even after getting the bugs worked out i immediately came up with another $200 worth of crap to do and that doesn't include a two-step.

No really, sounds nice. Can't wait for a day time vid. How do you find any traction at all with the Nittos? I'm sure it probably blazes through at least the first 3 gears.

You think? I mean you would know, right? I dunno.. maybe it might have something to do with the fact that the car was going 55mph when shifting into 2nd gear, or maybe I did a burnout before hand? Maybe I laid some traction compound down first? Oh.. it could've had something to do with it being a 7% downhill grade. Man.. it's just tough to say...
Just worry about your turd and I'll worry about how much or little traction mine has. It's slow. Why not come down here and make some easy money?

No really, if it's a DD I can see the Nittos as your choice, since their better in the rain. But if you have traction issues with all that HP, the MT street radials are a better tire.
Good first video, but in the second one i have a question. What was that you said? "They see me rolling, they be hating". Can I use that qoute in my sig. Brian?

In that case.. if you're actually trying to be cordial instead of that usual indirect flaming crap then by all means I'll indulge...
Yes that's what I said and it's not coined by me so use away. I'm not really interested in the MT's because the wear rating is horrible and they're bloody expensive. The Nittos do just fine for my needs. Once I go to the track then I'll use the ET Streets and if that's not enough I'll go for something more aggressive.
