Limitations of stock lifters???

Limitations of stock lifters???

What are their limits. Mine have about 75k and I'm doing a cam swap soon, how high will I be able to rev etc???

I am using stock lifters for .575 lift and 7,000 RPM.

I've heard something about 6300.
I'm not planning to rev my car past that with the new cam, but I still went with some comp R's just to be safe (and my engine has 50K miles). I do know at least 2 other people that reved theirs to 7000 though.

Valve springs are your friend. Take care of them and valve float won't break your lifters

I should be set then because I'm going to have nice valve springs made for my cam and more.
