What is the max RPM the stock lifter should be taken to?
Im doing 6400 now, thinking of going 6500. because my peek hp is right around 6400.

 

I don't know the exact number, but I'm pretty sure you're getting close.

I know several people who have reved to ~6900-7000 rpm on the stock lifters. (i was in the car a few times too) I know it's pretty crazy and I definetely wouldn't do it, but none of them have had problems so far.

But.... considering the money and time invested in your setup, I'd just go with some new ones.

 

next year when i port the heads and do a custom cam I will, but for now i want to know if we can go to 6500.

Anyone been taking the stock ones to 6500 for awhile?
