Here is a quote from that web page

New Carpet a.k.a. 1500 Series Carpet
This new carpet is even thicker than the "800" series currently available from other aftermarket manufacturers. This new carpet has a new molded rubber backing attached to it just like the OEM carpet. Other aftermarket companies do not have the ability to add this rubber backing to their molded carpets. The carpets they sell for $99 weigh about 18 pounds. My carpet is 100% thicker and denser, plus the addition of the rubber backing makes my molded carpet weigh nearly 40 pounds! It is also available in 21 colors.
Is it just me or didnt he say his carpet weights nearly 40 pounds as opposed to 18 pounds from the competition?

I read it three times.... his carpet weights twice as much....
aint that right??

I believe that he has the ability to manufacture the carpet without the backing for people who desire less weight. I seem to remember this from a previous post in the Paying Advertiser's forum.
