Lifters for cam swap

Doing a cam swap on a 1995 LT1 with 73000 miles. My question is, what would be better to use? The lifters already in it or some stock LS1 lifters with 55000 miles on them that I can get for $20? The car in the next two years will only get about 10,000 miles put on it with about half a dozen weekends at the track with a 6300 RPM limit. I plan on doing a complete rebuild in two years so I want to do this swap with as little money as possible, also, my wife just got layed off and I took a 5% pay cut.

Use what you have if they look good and turn smoothly when you get them out.

I'm starting a cam swap on my 95 LT1 tomorrow. I went with LS7 lifters. Are you going to clean them or soak them in oil?
