Hey SinisterSix, you never called me back, after you spoke to me at Casey's house. How is that coming along?

Ashley.

Thats what I was thinking, they put together a good motor for an affordable price. May be something to consider.

I'd like to know how you come out. I live in Columbus Georgia and although I don't need a rebuild I'm curious how much it's going to cost.

I found a guy locally that will pull/install the motor for $800. I found some used motors online at www.car-part.com but that's like paying 2-3k for something that might not be 100%. Summit deal seams ok but I don't have all the tools needed to rebuild a motor so I'd be forced to pay somebody.

I also considered the base engine package from lingenfelter which is like $7,000. They take your old motor out/inspect it/rebuild it/put a custom grind cam/CNC ported heads/etc and tune it then dyno it. 3yr/36k mile warranty and 400rwhp.

Lotta options out there but I havn't seen anything that can beat that.

I would opt for something with a warrenty, and I was looking on victory engines site and they seem to have some pretty good deals and probably come with a good warrenty. Or you can buy a used low mileage engine on ebay or classifieds and build that up.
