Let's say you were going to swap in a first gen block??

What heads would you run on it(11*/18*). How about Brodix? Lets look at most bang for the buck here, and your goals are 600rwhp, and mid 500's on torque or more.

The car might see a couple of hundred miles a month on the street and alot of drag strip time.

What Solid Roller might you run? What compression? Still maintaining fuel injection here so Fast will take care of the computer system. Or maybe a carb setup would be a better choise. What would you do. Though I'm going to run injection.

The reason I ask is, if I don't do a custom Turbo Kit next month, I'm going to sell everything, which has about 1,500 miles on it, and do the swap.

I should still be able to run my 6 speed. I think the bellhousing is pretty much standard, but not sure??? Ok let hear it.

If you're expecting to see 600 rwhp, you're better off buying an aftermarket block like a motown or dart or something. And, if it's NA, I doubt you will want to drive it on the street.

I've also considered this swap. I'd like to see some more opinions.

Question

Will the Gen I SBC distributor fit in a cramped 4th gen engine bay?

Yeah, a distributor will fit back there, but good luck if you have to remove it.
