What would Be the best way to lengthen my maf wires??? I figure soldering them would be the best...What gauge wire.....??? Just finnished the LS1 setup and need to length the wires so Its not so close to the throttle cables and such.....

 

Well, you could lengthen them, or you can go to GM and get the WS-6 pigtail for 96/97 cars. It's a ~7"-8" extension for that harness.

If you're going to solder it, make sure your soldering skills are up to par, and heatshrink all the wires when you're done.

For lengthening most car harnesses I use 20 Ga wire for most sensors.

 

Thanks Man I can do that.....So it would be plug and play??? I believe my Maff would be right where it would be on a WS6 car........For now it will work .....It is plugged in....But I want to Change the appearance...To make it look More Oem.....I Had to pull it from the bundle of wires..That goes along the Drivers side head so it would reach.....And it is pretty tight right now....

Yup, plug N Play... I've got one sitting on my shelf, I swapped it out with a different one now that I'm using a MAF from a Z06 Vette.
