Leaking rear-end on exhaust

So my rear is leaking a tid bit and a little tid bit of that is getting on my exhaust. Should there be anything to worry about with that? Does that type catch fire/could it catch fire?

I am having the same problem, the seal is leaking and letting gear oil leak over my I-pipe to the muffler!

I rarely see another f-body that doesn't leak fluid out of the pinion seal. A small amount is normal, but an excessive dripping is not. Pinion seal replacement would be required.

The pinion is easy to do anyways if its bad, go buy a chiltons manual if you don't have one already, they are great.

Mine leaks a bit too...I replaced it once and it started leaking again a few weeks later. I just keep an eye on the fluid level now.
