leakage problem!!

Hey just wondering whats going on. Just started my car today and let it run for about 20 minutes and smelled something odd. I then started to realize that some smoke was coming out of the hood. i then looked under the car and found it was leaking pretty bad. i did notice it was getting all over the belt and spray all over. i have come to the conclusion that its not antifreeze and not tranny fluid. the AC was running but so maybe some was water but why would it get all over the belt and spray under the hood and drip a big puddle. does anyone have any ideas?

Re: leakage problem!!

I take that back it might be antifreeze cause it kinda smells like it but its clear, it doesnt seem like its coming from its usual places either (to be antifreeze). it looked like it was coming from somewhere right in front of the axle.

Re: leakage problem!!

id bet its the waterpump, if it is, then dont let it get all over your opti! I just had a simular problem and it ended up coming from the top of the lower radiator hose (i think it goes to the waterpump) just put on a new clamp and problem solved.
