Leak around AIR fitting (ps lt's)

Hey guys, I just installed Pacesetter lt's and I'm having a leak around the AIR fittings. I installed M22X1.5 drain plugs from a Cummings diesel. Should I tighten them more, or should I find something else? Should I use a bar to tighten them more? Thanks for the help.

Re: Leak around AIR fitting (ps lt's)

The M22 threads are not an exact match for the threads on the stock fittings. They are a compromise. Some people claim that its a 7/8" thread, others that it is a tapered thread of some sort. I've even seen people claim they got a better match with a particular size "-AN" standard plug.

On my AS&M's I used the M22 plugs, and a thin copper gasket that sealed the plug to the tube on the header.
