Le3 Questions

I am currently building a 355 and I am expecting to pick up my block very soon and need to decide on H/C choices. My question is the Le3 set-up to big for a street driven 355 I am looking to turn the motor to about 6800rpm and have it dyno tuned.

My build consist of

Zero Decked block
Mahle forged -5cc flattop pistons for 6" rods
Scat forged 6" I-beams
stock polished crank
Internal balanced
1.6RRS
EWP
Hooker LTs no cat or any emissions
A4 with 3600 stall and 3.73 gears in the back.
36# injectors
58mm TB
Intake work to match heads.

No, it's not too big for a street driven car.

Go with 4.10 / 4.11's with an LE3... 3.73 is not enough gear (IMO).

Did you mean LE2 cam, LE3 heads? It's the cam that determines how much gear you need. You might ask Lloyd for a H/C combination that fits your setup and desires. There are quite a few LE cams for specific applications.

Good luck.
