NICE! What do you want out of the car? I'd go stroker if driveability was more important, if the budget allowed it of course.

Re: LE3 Heads just in...

what do you like? alot of torque or high revving?
if you like alot of torque go with a 383.
if you like high revving horsepower go with a 355.

even lloyd's best LT1 heads will choke a 383 where a 355 will happily continue on to 7000 rpm.

those are really nice numbers. they're similar to my heads up to .500 lift then yours take off. cant beat lloyd's work!

Agreed. You could put together a very nice 355 with those heads.

Nice #s

And I agree with most of the others....

Stock castings--------> High-reving 355

Re: LE3 Heads just in...

Well, my main goal was to hit 11's on motor as streetablity is no concern anymore. I did get my intake fully ported by Lloyd and the custom grind from Bret B. which is the LE3 cam. I did however plan on using nitrous to get me in the 10's 100-200hp shot. I'll just build an engine that can help me reach my goal. I guess half of you guy's would really like me to build a 355 huh??
