Finally my LE2 is going in. I have a Delteq and I was wondering if I should remove any of the Opti parts while the motor is out of the car. What do you guys think?

The guys who installed my cam do not think they need to degree my cam. Is that true? How would they know if it needs to be degree'd or not?

 

Yeah i would make sure they degree the cam, you would be suprised at what you might find. As far as the opti goes we left the rotor and everything in mine and i haven had any problems at all yet (1200 miles now).

They told me that Comp Cams are usually pretty close. Is that true? Is it difficult to degree a cam? They have my motor out so I am thinking if they went to all that trouble and won't degree the cam it must be a PIA.
