There are 350-355s out there with ported LT1 heads and cams making 420ish or more and that are streetable.
I wonder what my LT4 H/I Hot cam stuff would have done on a 150? It went 11.17@119.5 with just a 100shot.
Not taking anything from you, great numbers and times but you are not alone....

And as far as the pretty generic Heads Cam LT1 doing 420ish, There are a ton out there...
But how many are on Stock LT1 castings with STOCK valves and non-ported intakes and such....

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers
How would an LE2 or LE3 cam work with heads not done by LE? I've got a homeport job on my heads, and Manley RaceFlo 2.00 x 1.55 valves. I wanted to get a custom cam, but it seems like people are really running strong with the LE2/3 cams. The heads are coming along well, and I'll have some flow numbers on them. Lloyd and Brett, if you guys have any thoughts on this reply or PM me.

John,
When I do a custom cam I match it to the heads just like we do with the LE stuff. I get lots of good data from Lloyd on his heads and the setups make the power because of both the cam and the heads.
A LE3 cam to me is for something with built bottom end like a 355 or 383, the LE2 cam pulls hard enough into the mid 6000 range so you probably don't need more cam than that on a stock bottom end that's not going to like that much RPM. I can reference a cam for you off of something like this. The LE designs are designed to work with the LE heads, but they are getting known like the CC306, GM847 as a reference in size.

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers
Well I might just send you the flow numbers when I know something. I've been busting *** to get these heads done, they go to the machine shop tomorow (block is already there). I was the one PM'ing you about bottom end stuff, so I'll have a balanced and forged Eagle rotating assembly with Mahle pistons. Since I'm staying with the stock stroke I am planning on revving the thing. I think the stock PCM only reads to 7200 RPM, but I'll rev it to 7k if it's still making power and not dropping off too bad.
I was going to send a completed head to Lloyd and have him flow it and critique it, however I want to use the car some this summer and if I ship a head to him and wait for it to come back I'm going to get kind of behind schedule. The machine shop that's doing the work for me has a flow bench, and has done a lot of LT1 stuff so I'm just going to have the flow test done there.
Anyway, the plan is to drop the heads off tomorow evening at the shop. I'm done with the entire intake runner/bowl and combustion chambers, so tonight and in the morning I'm going to do the exhaust side. I will PM you with flow numbers as soon as I get them.

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers
outstanding numbers, all these people getting their LE packages done are making me very VERY impatient to get mine done
oh and bret, somewhat off topic, but did you do my cam? Lloyd did my heads around october of last year. I dont know when you started doing his cams.

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers
FastZ,
Get port volumes, chamber volume, and flow numbers. If you can get some exhaust numbers with a pipe on the exhaust that would be even better. E-mail me about this stuff though.
Zigroid,
If your cam came in a Comp Cams box yeah I did it.

Re: LE2 Dyno & Track Numbers
Heres the link of the first dyno at TSP....
Dyno TSP Link
I wish he would have held out the RPM's, I know it would have gotten a few more peak HP, but, just to have a graph that goes all the way to 7k. He held it to about 6600 on the HPE dyno, But it spiked or did something funny at the very end, So he chopped it down to make it look right....

It was more of a clean out and get things moving dyno run....
