LE2 Dyno Day - 400 RWHP

Decided to take the car down to the local dyno shop and dyno after my LE2 setup.
Its actually a STOCK-VALVED lt1 heads fully ported with the Brett LE2 cam design.
Fully bolt on modded car with this and a Stock Bottom End.

First pass was 394.0 RWHP and 356.1 RWTQ

Did some tuning due to some top-end lean conditions and worked on some small bugs

Second pass was an impressive 400.9 RWHP and 361.6 RWTQ All Motor!!!!

Dyno graphs will be posted in a couple of days....

Thanks to Brett and Lloyd for all their help, Very impressed with customer service and products.....

Nice numbers! Are the SAE corrected? Also, wouldnt those still be LE1 heads since they have stock valves?... doesnt seem to be hurting any either way!

yes those are the corrected numbers...Not that it was much difference,
And correct these would be the LE1 heads with different springs and the LE2 cam.
I think some refer to this as the LE1.5 package.
Anyways, I was very impressed.

Good numbers man....

Lloyd e-mailed me about them earlier tonight.

I thought it was a LE2 head with that setup, guess not. lol

Did you get Beehives or Dual Springs on that setup? I designed it to work with both but honestly I like the beehives better.

Re: LE2 Dyno Day - 400 RWHP

They are stock LT1 valves and the heads flow around 260/180.

We use dthe bee hive springs and CM retainers.

It should have pulled to 6400-6500 but made about 10 less HP than the 2.00/1.56 valves. Pretty nice for a "budget" set up.

It is basically the LE2 heads and cam but $250 less since we used the stock LT1 valves instead of the Ferrea 6000's.

Bret

It was the beehive springs....

It pulled to 6500 real strong as was still making power....
Maybe next time I will have him take it a bit higher to see what max power is and where?

What are the specs of the LE1, LE2, LE3 cams and is Bret making all of them now or is yours custom from him?

Re: LE2 Dyno Day - 400 RWHP

They dont give out all of the specs on the cams, they make power thats what counts.

Lloyde will set up your heads for whatever cam you buy, but you must buy the heads cam package, LE2 not sold cam only.

I have rode in Kryckter's TA, that car feels like it have a 100 shot all the time now compaired to the old setup with stock heads and a 224/230. Money well spent for this setup
