le2 bottom end setup

I've got 5.7" SIR eagle rods and a stock crank, going NA. I'm going with the LE2 package from lloyd and was wondering what pistons would work well. I was looking at SRP's or Mahle's looking to get around 10.8-11.5:1 compression. I can find the pistons from srp part number 138081 but i can't find mahle pistons that would work. Also does anyone know the combustion chamber size of le2 heads so i can figure out the compression ratio's for pistons? And does anyone know which mahle pistons would work? Thanks.

Try emailing Lloyd directly on the head cc. He usually responds fairly quickly.

I would think that the CC's of the LE2 heads would be in the neighborhood of 55-57cc's. Are you having the block decked as well? This affects your computations for you compression ratio. I would go with Mahle over SRP for simple fact that they cost the same and come coated. I believe the part number for the Mahle piston you are looking for is SBC550030F05.
