Latest track times w/video

I went to my local track last night in my Formula. I'm still trying to figure out my suspension setup, but ran a new best:

60' - 1.59
1/8 - 7.01
1/4 - 10.87
mph - 127.54
timeslip

My friend John was video'ing, but missed my 10.87. He did get my 10.97 though - 10.97@127.

I think there was a .75 in the car last night, but I broke my 12 bolt again. I was able to drive home, it was just VERY loud. This carrier only lasted 7 passes

I'm not going to give it yet. I was thinking of trying a locker or a better posi. I'm going to give Tom's Differentials a call.

I recompressed the video using divx. It's 6.6mb and a little better quality - video link

I also grabbed this frame showing that I actually yanked a wheel

Not much, but my first video evidence

That's a mean looking launch Wayne!! Now I know what my 306 would've probably done on a 150shot. On the 100 shot pills it was a 10.99@126. But that extra 30rw was something I never added while I still had that cam. Now it's a 230/236 on a 110 <- it doesn't respond near as well to the bottle

Congrats on the new best!

And did you break a 33 spline posi?

Wayne:

Very nice times. Surprised the tire wasn't a little further off the ground with the 1.5X 60-ft. And I guess the T56 takes a toll on the 12-bolt. Mine has held up well under very similar conditions (11.1@127.6), but with the TH400 making it a little less stressful, I guess.

I really need to get off my lazy a$$ and tow the car down to Frederick when I go to visit my daughter... we ought to run fairly even..... Would make a nice video.... the purple Formula and the green Formula running side by side......
