just got the engine in the subframe tonight, and the headers clear...ye haw!
anyways, gotta hook up my y pipe drive shaft and wire harness.
oil, anti freeze, and trans misson flluid.
what else i needto go over before i start this bitch/

forged 357 236/245 cam on 111 lsa. firing her up tomorrow.!!

 

Don't forget to burp the coolant system. Keep an eye on the oil pressure. Double check that all your vacuum lines are hooked up. I like to crank mine with the ignition fuses pulled to toss some oil around first. Don't crank for more than 30 seconds at a time as you can damage (over heat) the starter.

 

yup thats what we did 1st time we cammed it, cranked it for a few w/ the coil wire unpluged until we got pressure.
