Speed Engineering out in Cali, they dropped shipped straight from Kooks.

It took 2 months but well worth the wait

Beautiful set of headers. Gotta love the Gatorade bottle in the collector.

These are what I'm intent on switching to if my ASM headers won't clear the new Milodon pan.

I wonder if they would work in our cars? I am going to go to LTs in the future and would perfer the D exausht port, instead of the traditional SBC exhaust port. What header are you currently running? Kooks make a bad @ss header, nice pictures.

Wow, just noticed that too. looks like someone will be shipping a certain something back to cooks for adjustment, and the other one looks like the 02 bung is facing the outside...???

That is the way they placed the O2 sensors...it is fine.

Now prepare for a tight starter....pita to get plugs 5, 6 & 8 out.

Also, do yourself a favor and throw out those pos exhaust gaskets they gave you and get some Mr. Gasket 5903 gaskets.

Also, check your header bolts length wise...those headers have a thick flange and you would not want to strip out a exhaust bolt because only a few threads make it past flange.

Other than the size, do those differ greatly from the 1 3/4" version they offer? I'm assuming those aren't coated, but they still look very good to me.

Is coating generally considered a waste of money on stainless headers? I've heard arguments on both sides. I've heard the coating offers benefits on any header, but at the same time I've heard it won't adhere to the stainless steel and is therefore a waste of money.

Thanks for the tips, ya whats up with the gaskets they sent?? THey look like felt on the outside. The bolts do look shorter but the flanges look thinner than my pace flanges.

i heard that you have to run a lt4 starter with these headers, is that true?? Or will the stock starter work just a pta??

yes, uncoated, stainless steel all 900.00 worth
