Knock Sensor Removal Problem

The sensor spins inside of itself when I try to turn on it with a wrench. I air-hammered the corners to try and get it to bite, but it doesn't hold well enough. What can I do? I don't have enough room to get a pipe wrench in there. I did some searching and others have had this problem, but no solutions were posted. Can anyone help?

Re: Knock Sensor Removal Problem

I just got it with vise grips with a 3/8" extension, 6" long, and a 5/8" socket (for leverage to slip over the end of the vise grips). Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for posting your fix!!! I'm having the same problem!!! I'll try this, and order a new sensor.
