I've heard alot of various things on the board regarding running the LT4 km etc..
I'm running jet hot long tubes and ive heard often times LTs and exhaust can cause 'false' knock retard.. so i took it to the shop and ran it on a scanner, at WOT i'm showing .7 retard with very little if any retard daily driving. Is this acceptable, or is the KM worth it to get rid of the .7? I think the timing was staying rihgt around 25 which i believe is what the PCM is supposed to keep it at.. will the KM allow it to go farther? is .7 retard at WOT bad, good, or average?

Knock retard MUST be 0.0
I have the same problem and couldn't figure it out yet! My LT Headers touch my Oil Pan (Canton Problem), and maybe thats could be a false retard. You will be better if you get LT4 knock Module. (to get rid of false knock because of your loud rockers or headers)

The question I would ask Geardrive is WHEN are you seeing that 0.7* knock retard? Its not unusual to see a bit of retard slip in on shifts at WOT.
