Knock module OBD-I or II?

How can you tell what knock module you have? I have a 94 Z

Modules aren't OBD specific. Only the knock sensors.

So the knock module plugs in and replaces the knock sensor?

The knock module plugs into the PCM, and the knock sensor screws into the block.

No, they are two separate parts that work together.

what if you have an OBD-II car(96 Trans Am) and decide to swap to an OBD-I pcm, should you change the sensor then also???? I purchased my pcm from PCM4less if that helps any

The only component you need to change is the SENSOR. As stated the MODULE is not OBD specific.

i run my OBDII sensor in my OBDI swapped car, no issues.

Ask pcmforless if he already converted your OBD-I PCM so that it would not need a replacement on your OBD-II knock sensor. He may have already taken car of it.
