I got the complete unit w/ power steering. my 15yr old daughter and i changed it if that tells you anything. to swap the motor from one to the other i had a jack with a block of wood on the oil pan. this balanced perfect w/ tranny attached. i lifted the motor then rolled out the stock one swap everything to the new one then rolled it back in.

I just received my PA kmember yesterday from Thunder Racing. 2 weeks exactly. $381 included dropshipping from the factory.

I wont be installing it for a couple of weeks, but the piece looks good. Welds look thick, solid, and uniform. Prep was only so-so though, as they didnt clean the welds very well before it was powercoated. They really should have at least hit it with a steel brush before the powercoating. I'm not really concerned about the prep though, since I dont have a show car and for the most part the k-member wont be visiable. You've got to look pretty close to see the splatter anyway.

You might want to look at the stuff from AJE Engineering . I haven't actually seen a setup yet, but it looks like high quality parts.

There was a pretty good thread about K-members in the Drag Racing section. I think speedmiser even started it when he was looking for his tubular K.
