Yeah, it bolts right in.. Works great looks better, and know one will know unless the crawl or you tell them, or they notice how when you stomp your foot to the metal your front end wants to crawl to the sky..

If seriously interested please give Paul a call

Thanks
Kevin

Who uses those, drag racers, autox? Is it just like the other crossmember but less weight? I definitely want one, but I don't have the money right now.

Anybody can use them, if you do autoX I would recommend the chrome moly verison.. They lighten your car and make the front stiffer, and gives you better ground clearance, and more room for headers

Re: ghmgfmkj

FYI for those who dont know. the benefit of the kmembers is 1)lightweight 2) improves header clearances and makes eng. more accessable 3) looks sweet 4) is structuraly (Sp?) stronger.
Ive hear that they save 72 lbs. but that may be with chromoly and w/the tubular A-arms. I wish I had the money to do that now. but I need alot of other stuff first. like some subframe conn.s.

As much as I would like the complete assembly, I just put it out of reach last Sunday when I blew my engine. An engine rebuild now takes priority over anything else.

what is the difference in the chrome moly and mild steel...
100.00 bones and how much weight are you looking at...

strength difference... I hate to get mild steel and have it break...

just to have some DUDE go "bro you should have gotten Chrome moly"

oh yeah if I want to upgrade to the steering kit that they sell?

is it compatible with this k-member?

rack and pinion style...no power steering pump....thing! I can dump that HUGE gear box then...

I had to get the frme welded from racing....Stupid gear box!!

Do you have any long-term experience with this particular model yet? I've heard from others that some of the k-members that are currently available can't hold up to daily street use, and should only be used on a drag-only car. There's another more expensive one floating around that's supposed to be strong enough to handle daily use. Has this one been tested on a daily driver? The price sounds right, but the last thing I need is to crack the thing in 2 years on the way to work.

I've spoken with a couple of guys on here that have them and they say they work great the mild steel versions.. I spoke with Performance Automotive and they say that the chrome moly version is recommended for autocross racing but the mild steel version has yet to have any problems and it's been out on the market for close to three years..
