Just removed the EGR Valve and found cut/missing vacuum lines. Loss of performance?

Just finished up removing the last of the EGR system. When I went to take off the EGR valve (big black thing on back of manifold) and the EGR Solenoid, I noticed that the vacuum line from the drivers side of the manifold to the EGR Solenoid was cut, and the line from the solenoid to the EGR valve was missing. Needless to say, I'm sure I had a vacuum leak.

Could this have been hurting performance? cuz I've always felt the car doesnt have the ***** that it should (people on here claim they run mid-high 13's bone stock, and I'm doing that with plenty of mods)

Thanks.

Any vacuum leak is not a good thing. The smaller it is, the less effect it will have.

sorry about the ttt....didn't know Brent was sick of them. I understand and it wont happen again.

How much performance could have been lost through that though? Cuz I know a friend who had a vacuum leak and his car lost a lot of power...I've had the car for less than a year so i'm sure these vacuum lines have been like this the whole time, so theres no way for me to notice a difference in performance. this couldnt have caused any damage could it? thanks.

I had the same problem, mine line from intake to solenoid were disconnected for a while. I have a VAC meter, and my readings went down to 5-8 Hg (it's a small tube). Strange thing, but performance were not affected at all, brakes too. May be I just started running a bit rich, nothing more.

haha damnit i was hoping there would be a loss of performance so when I fired her back up, maybe it would be like the other lt1's on this site.
